BL DentSoc!!

House Web

Who we are:

Every dental student is a member of the Society, which is run by a committee of 20 members, each assigned to fulfill a particular duty. The committee are elected by dental students each year. The primary objective of the society is to be a bridge between dental students and staff at the Dental School. Our Dental Society is always keen to consider new ideas and is in a continuous state of evolving and getting better.

What we do:

We support students in both their educational and social lives to give them the best experience possible of their time here at the dental school. Any problems with the course if forwarded to us to be resolved (yes, we are the complainers)!!! We also organise a range of social events for everyone throughout the year. These events are great opportunities to mingle with your dental (and medical peers) and celebrate your achievements (not always but a great excuse) throughout the years!

How you can contribute:

Without the Dental School students this society would not exist, which is why all dental students are more than welcome to take a full part in this valuable community. As this society represents ALL dental students at Barts and The London, it is not surprising that the election of committee members is taken very seriously. Each year there are elections to choose the best candidates for this committee and it is hoped that the elected members will reflect the needs of the students at this Dental School. Everyone (with or without previous committee experience) can offer themselves for election, so find out more about our society and get involved. We will be coming to you guys to elect a first year rep sometime in September so be prepared!!
